Hanini

Photo by Brenda Landers-Smith Miniature Bred in United States (1995) by Dr. A. Michael Dykstra. Introduced in United States (1995) by Justice Miniature Roses. Striped, red blend [ARS rb] blooms. Fruity fragrance. 5 petals. Average diameter 2". Medium, single bloom form. Repeats its bloom again later in the season. Height of 24" (60 cm). Width of 30". (75 cm). Zone 6 thru 10. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Parentage: Sarabande® x Hurdy Gurdy Justice Miniature Roses says this five-petalled rose looks like an old master's painting on velvet. Deep burgundy stripes, the color of a fine claret, are accented by old ivory. In the language of Malta, the name means "sweetheart"...
